Your votes made all the difference, and now your new Local School Council for Murray Language Academy will be taking their seats for the first time on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 6pm in the Multi-purpose Room.
There is so much potential at Murray, and your continued support will be needed to make it all happen. The incoming LSC members (both old and new) have lots of great ideas for things that can be done to improve and enhance the programs that are available at Murray, and they need your help to do it. Many hands make light work, right?
Many important things will be decided at this meeting, and your continued voice and support is critical to the process. For example, the many subcommittees of the LSC will be created or reinstated, such as the Middle School Committee, Principal Evaluation Committee and the Technology Committee. These committees will need willing members to help move along their spheres of responsibility and make meaningful contributions.
So please come out and attend!!
